So, a while ago I promised all of you I would keep you up to date with my weight loss battle. But I didn’t. I didn’t continue posting, and I also didn’t lose another pound. Not. One. More. Pound. BUT. And here’s the important part: I am going to lose this fat. I have changed my mindset. I am not worried about the scale, I am more concerned with the fat surrounding my middle, top, and bottom. I have a plan…and I would love if you guys would all come along with me.
I have created a group on Facebook with about 15 friends from all over the country and we are going to motivate and encourage each other. We are going to share tips and ideas, recipes, and photos. This band of sisters and I are going on a fat loss/get healthy life changing journey. But this isn’t just a diet. We aren’t in it JUST to lose weight. I think most of us are in this to get healthy once and for all. We know what we have to do, and we know what have done in the past isn’t working for us. Now, what I’m about to tell you is shocking. Listen closely. There is NO easy way to lose weight. There are NO short cuts to being healthy. The only thing you can do is eat right and exercise.
That’s right! I already eat lean meats (proteins) and I’ve cut back on fried foods and I never drink soda. The only thing I ever drink is water, and my one cup of coffee per day, with no sugar. So now I’m off breads unless they are gluten free, and I’m going to cut out the fried foods and reduce my sugar intake to minimal (and only natural sugars! No aspartame…that shit is BAD FOR YOU!).
