Kut From the Kloth Jeans Are My BFF

My intentions are to do one or two of these style posts a week, but you know what they say about intentions and the road to Hell.

Pay no attention to the mess behind me.

Because I’m a bit of a hot mess some days (most days), you may have to disregard the mess in the backgrounds of my photos. I’m not one of those social media moms you see with the perfect kitchens and bedrooms, posing in their size 0 jeans. Don’t believe me, just take a look at my personal Instagram!

I’m the mom who doesn’t have her shit together, who wears an 8 in some brands, and a 12 in others. Who doesn’t “put on airs” or “keep up with the Joneses” as my Grandma would say. I’m the mom who yells at her kids occasionally (and usually feels really bad about it after). My house is messy but lived and loved in. My minivan (the bane of my existence) is full of animal cracker dust and melted Crayola remnants. My hair is usually washed but only because if I don’t it’s a greasy rat’s nest. BUT, my kids are clean and typically on the bus at the right time, so I’ve got that going for me…which is nice.

I do, however, enjoy a good sale and I especially like looking nice when I’m going out with my husband or to the office to work. I am part owner of an ad agency and therefore need to look the part. It’s yoga pants most days when I’m “working from home” (those days are few and far between and when I am working from home I can be found on the couch with my laptop and a cup of joe).

So, here’s one of my first posts about my style.

Today, I wore these super comfortable and by far my favorite pair of jeans. The Diana from Kut From the Cloth. I bought mine at EverEve but they are available at Nordstrom’s, too. Not only are they cute and comfy, but they are made for a mama’s body.

I got this tank top in my TrendSend from EverEve last month and honestly, it’s the only thing I kept out of the entire box. It’s $38 and while I realize it’s a lot for a tank top, it’s soft and goes with literally everything in my closet. They also have it in white and other amazing colors.

The booties are Roxy and I got them at Amazon. I don’t normally have luck finding booties or boots online. I’ve been known to order pair after pair thinking “THIS pair has to work!” and sadly, they don’t. I’ve returned about 6 pairs of boots in the last two months. But, I definitely lucked out with these and bonus, they’re on sale right now at Amazon!

I got this cheetah print sweater at Target. It’s their new brand, A New Day. I wasn’t sure I’d love this brand, but I really kinda do. I feel like Target is stepping it up a notch from their Merona brand and I’m totally okay with this.

For my accessories, I went with this cute necklace and bracelet. Both are on sale at EverEve and I picked them up over the weekend. It’s the first time I’ve ever left EverEve for under $30.

And for the Southern Gal, or the Southern Gal at Heart, my Hey Y’all coffee mug is from Amazon.

That’s what I wore today to the office. Now, when I get home, I plan on changing into workout gear and hitting the treadmill. That’s a post for another day.

Got any questions about anything posted here, or any other things on your mind, shoot me a message via our contact form. Thanks, y’all! ~Brandy
